1. Postgraduate degree in Arts/Science/Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce with minimum 55% marks; and
2. M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks; and
3. Ph.D. in Education or in any pedagogic subject offered in the institutions; and
4. Eight years of teaching experience in a secondary Teacher Education Institution.

Desirable: Diploma/Degree in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership.

• Lecturer:

(A) Perspectives in Education or Foundation Courses

1. Postgraduate degree in Social sciences with minimum 55% marks; and
2. M.Ed degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.

                                     OR

1. Postgraduate (MA) degree in Education with minimum 55% marks; and
2. B.Ed./B.EI.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

(B) Curriculum and Pedagogic Courses

1. Postgraduate degree in Sciences/Mathematics/Social Sciences/Languages with minimum 55% marks, and
2. M.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable: PhD degree in Education with subject specializations.

[Note: In case of A and B put together, for two faculty positions, a postgraduate degree in Sociology/Psychology/Philosophy with 55% marks, and three years of teaching experience in a secondary school shall be considered].

1. Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks. (Training/Qualification in yoga education shall be desirable)

• Lecturer:

(A) Perspectives in Education/Foundations of Education; & Curriculum and Pedagogy

1. Teacher Education in D.EI.Ed should have Masters Degree in Social Science/Humanities/Science/Maths/Language with 50% marks, and M.Ed with 50% marks or M.A. (Education) with 50% marks [except (two) positions where the requirement shall be Postgraduate in Philosophy/ Sociology/Psychology with 50% marks and B.EI.Ed or B.Ed or D.EI.Ed with 50% marks, or M.Phil/Ph.D in Education].

(B) Physical Education
